Beam is Rasuk

When I started learning vb some thirteen years ago, it was this beam application that fascinated me most. It was my first desk top application. Observation of my mine indicated human errors, major but mostly minor, existed in many structural drawings of my projects. Those were due to a few known and hideous reasons, ie clarity in communication between designers and draftpersons as well as the competency of staffs involved in a particular project. To overcome the problem this application was developed to automate drawing production of reinforced concrete beam detailings.

If you refer wiki, definition of a beam is written as a structural member which is usually horizontal, designed to sustain loads, and thereby subjected to flexure. The effect of bending at any point obtained reflects the bending moment.

A common repository is employed to place the three structural component apps SLAB, BEAM & COLUMN in a folder 'autodraf'. The installation is semi-automatic because of simple directory was  adopted in developing the applications. It is possible to create fully auto setup. I will be glad if someone would like to amend and recompile the program. All the source codes are included in the zip folder. You need to have VB6 installed on PC to do that. I will be happy to accept feedback and comment on this amateur application.

The steps to setup Rasuk on window PC is very much similar way as described for the column in the previous post.
